What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, written by men under the direct inspiration of the Holy Spirit.  The following foundational truths guide our ministry:
  • We believe in one eternal God who manifests Himself in three
    persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; John 14:26; Acts 10:38; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
  • God created man in His own image to live in perfect communion with
    Him, but with a free will.  Man chose to disobey God and be separated from Him (Genesis 1:27; Deuteronomy 30:19; Joshua 24:15; John 7:17).
  • God gave the law so we can understand that we cannot work our way
    back to Him, but we need a Savior (Romans 3:19-20; Galatians 2:16;
    Galatians 3:10-14; Hebrews 10:1-4 with Hebrews 1:3).
  • Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is that Savior and the only way for man
    to be reconciled with God.  Jesus, fully God and fully man, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, manifested God’s true nature perfectly, gave His life on a cross to redeem mankind back to God, after three days rose from the dead, and is now seated on the right hand of the Father, having accomplished everything necessary for man’s salvation (Matthew 3:17; Hebrews 1:3; Luke 19:10; Acts 4:12; 1 John 2:2; Romans 6:23; Philippians 2:5-11; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 8:34).
  • Jesus’ blood is the only propitiation for man’s justification and
    redemption (Romans 3:24-25; Romans 5:9; Ephesians 1:7; 1 John 1:7; 1
    John 2:2; Hebrews 10:19-22).
  • Jesus provided everything we need to live a victorious life in this
    world. He provided healing, divine health, prosperity, and abundant life (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; 1 Peter 2:24; 3 John 1:2; John 10:10; 2 Corinthians 8:9).
  • Through Jesus, God has brought Himself near to man and provided
    reconciliation to every man, but people must individually choose to be reconciled back to God and accept for themselves the forgiveness that is already provided (2 Corinthians 5:18-19; Deuteronomy 30:19; Romans 10:9-10; 1 John 2:2).
  • By grace God provided salvation for everyone as a gift, but we must
    be born again to enter God’s kingdom. We must believe in our hearts that Jesus rose from the dead and we must confess Him as our Lord and Savior to activate by faith the amazing salvation available for us
    (Ephesians 3:8-9; John 3:16; Romans 6:23; John 3:3; 2 Corinthians 5:17;
    1 Peter 1:23).
  • We are made righteous in God’s sight by grace through faith in the
    accomplished work of Jesus on the Cross and no one is made righteous by keeping the law (Romans 3:21-22; Romans 4:13; Romans 10:4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 2:8-9).
  • The baptism with the Holy Spirit is empowering believers today to live a godly life and to rely on the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit that are active within the body of Christ until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 3:11; Mark 1:8; Luke 3:16; John 1:33; Acts 1:5; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11).
  • We are called to love one another as Jesus has loved us and to speak
    the truth in love (John 13:34-35; Romans 13:8; 1 John 4:7; 1 John 4:12;
    Ephesians 4:15; Ephesians 4:29).
  • The Church is the sum of all born again believers in Christ throughout the whole world, regardless of their denomination and is the local body through which God operates (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 11:16-17; Romans 10:13; 2 Corinthians 2:14; 2 Corinthians 1:20).
  • We believe in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ and that all the born-again believers will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an
    incorruptible body and those who did not accept Jesus as their Lord will join Satan and his demons in everlasting punishment (Acts 1:11; 1
    Thessalonians 4:16; Revelations 3:11; Revelations 22:12; Daniel 12:2;
    Matthew 25:41; 2 Thessalonians 1:9).
  • Hell was not originally created for mankind, but was created for Satan
    and his fallen angels, but because of rejecting the gift of salvation through Jesus, individuals choose to join Satan in that place of torment (Matthew 10:28; Matthew 25:41; Matthew 25:46; Jude 1:6-7; Revelation 14:11; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:10; Revelation 21:8).
